Iwas honored to be selected to showcase my artwork at the Singapore Unseen Art Exhibition 2024, held at Selegie Arts Centre. This thought-provoking exhibition featured artists who explored hidden, overlooked, and untold stories of Singapore, offering a fresh perspective beyond its well-known landmarks and modern skyline.

A Unique Artistic Vision
“Singapore Unseen” brought together a diverse group of artists, each presenting their interpretation of the unseen aspects of life in Singapore, its forgotten histories, unseen struggles, quiet beauty, and intimate moments that often go unnoticed.
The exhibition space was filled with works that challenged perceptions, sparking conversations about identity, heritage, and personal narratives within the ever-evolving landscape of Singapore.
My Artwork & Inspiration
For this exhibition, I showcased two pieces that reflect the quiet, everyday moments of local culture. Inspired by hidden corners, unspoken stories, and the nostalgia of vanishing traditions, my artworks sought to capture a side of Singapore that exists beyond its fast-paced urban life.
Observing how visitors connected with my work, sharing their own interpretations and experiences, was incredibly rewarding. It reinforced the idea that art is not just about what is seen, but also about what is felt and remembered.
A Lasting Impression
Being part of Singapore Unseen 2024 was a meaningful experience that allowed me to explore storytelling through art in a powerful way. It was a reminder that beyond the visible, there is always a deeper narrative waiting to be uncovered.
