My journey to the 15th Asia Art Alliance Exhibition 2025 in Taoyuan, Taiwan, was nothing short of incredible. Despite the cold and chilly weather, with rain and strong winds adding to the atmosphere, the experience was refreshing and filled with artistic inspiration.
A Warm Welcome & Festive Vibes
Upon arrival on February 21, 2025, our Singapore group collected our artist cards and prepared for the exciting days ahead. The event was impeccably organized by Pan-Asia Art Alliance Association and various Taiwan organizations, setting the stage for an enriching experience.
Lantern Festival & Welcome Dinner
The evening before the grand opening, we visited the Lantern Festival, where the glowing lanterns created a magical ambiance.
The welcome dinner was a joyful gathering, with wonderful music setting the tone for an unforgettable night. The highlight was when artists joined in a group dance, celebrating art and friendship across borders.
The Grand Opening & Charity Art Event
The next day marked the grand opening of the exhibition, alongside a charity art event. (Ref: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61570156952368)
Dressed in my traditional costume, while others, including a distinguished man in a suit, joined the celebration, the event was graced by the Deputy Mayor, Director of Culture, organizers, sponsors, and esteemed guests. With over 1,000 attendees, the exhibition buzzed with excitement. The charity event supported special needs children, making it all the more meaningful.
I was honored to donate one of my paintings, capturing a special moment in a photo with the collector.
I also had the chance to take a photo with the chief curator Professor Chiung-Jui Hsiao, a moment to cherish.
Later in the evening, we attended the Gala Dinner at Fullon Hotel, where I collected my charity certificate, a beautiful token of the event’s purpose. The night was filled with fun, laughter, and connections with fellow artists. (Ref: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61570156952368)
Artistic Exchange & Cultural Immersion
The following day was dedicated to an art workshop, where artists exchanged ideas and techniques. I was thrilled to receive my participation certificate, marking my contribution to this grand event. We were also treated to a delicious traditional lunch, a delightful way to wrap up the experience.
With artists from 20 countries and over 200 paintings exhibited, the 15th Asia Art Alliance Exhibition 2025 was a phenomenal event. Everything was expertly organized by the Asian Art Alliance and Pan Asia Art and Taiwan organization, with great support from the government.
This trip was more than just an exhibition, it was an artistic journey, a cultural celebration, and a heartfelt gathering of creatives from around the world. I feel truly honored to have been part of it!
